Source: Variety
David Goyer, the writer behind the Blade series and director of Blade: Trinity (not to mention the writing genius behind Batman Begins!) will get behind the camera for yet another vampire flick based on the illustrated novel Baltimore, or The Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden. The authors will write the screenplay with Goyer directing for New Regency. The graphic novel tells the story of the awakening of supreme evil on Earth. Lord Henry Baltimore is bitten by a demonic vampire bat on a WWI battlefield. The plague destroys his family, and Baltimore creates a team to hunt and fight the Red King, the embodiment of all evil. Sounds like a party - just make sure that one of the vamps looks like Jessica Biel, okay Dave!
